Crash logs are very helpful to us when you are experiencing issues with a game.
- Connect your iPhone/iPad to the computer with its USB cable. Open iTunes if it does not open automatically.
- Click iPhone/iPad under Devices.
- Click the Sync button in the bottom right corner of the window. iTunes then transfers all crash logs to your computer.
Follow the directions below to find iPhone crash logs in three operating systems:
Mac OS X
Locate the crash logs on a Mac here:
~~~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/<DEVICE_NAME>
Note that "~~~" is your Home folder.
Create an archive from the .crash file and .plist file before sending them to us. If there are more files related to the application, you can send them too.
Windows Vista / Windows 7/ Windows 8
Crash files are kept here:
C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter/MobileDevice/<DEVICE_NAME>
Keep in mind that AppData is usually hidden. To find it enter the following address:
C:\Users\<USERNAME>
Now manually add AppData to the folder path:
C:\Users\<USERNAME>AppData
Windows XP
Crash logs are stored here:
C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Application Data\Apple computer\Logs\CrashReporter/<DEVICE_NAME>
<USERNAME> is your personal login. By default, the Application Data folder can be hidden. Follow the steps under Windows Vista/Windows7/Windows 8 to find it.
